Broadwater County rodeo club to use trust grant for container, mower, ramp and sound upgrades

Denise said the new mower has arrived and that Austin Rath is scheduled to rebuild the ramp to the handicapped grandstands, likely in May. The club is planning painting and landscaping around that area and working with Heringfeld on signage similar to signs installed by the 4‑H building. She also said the club hopes to replace the outdoor arena sound system and is coordinating with the airport about rebuilding a fence for a pasture and possibly improving parking on the west side.
Board members did not take a formal vote on grant spending during the meeting. Denise described current and planned uses of the grant and the logistical steps—container placement approved by the county, equipment already received, and contractor work scheduled—that the club expects to complete before the fair and rodeo.
The board did not set a specific timeline for completion beyond the contractor’s planned ramp rebuild in May, and no additional county approvals were recorded in the meeting minutes for the listed items.
