Senate finance panel withdraws motion to cut funding for Sanunu Center; item remains on hold

After the department explanation, Senator Rosenwald withdrew the motion and asked that the item remain on the committee’s hold list for additional work. The committee accepted that outcome and left item 5(a) on hold.
Committee chair and staff asked that department and committee members follow up with more detailed fiscal class lines and operational impacts before any further action.
The committee moved on to other hold items after the withdrawal.
