Carbon County officials: ERAP funds exhausted after assisting roughly 170–180 households; shelters and casework continue

Gina, an ERAP program staffer, told the Carbon County Housing Coalition that the county’s ERAP emergency rental assistance program closed last week after funds were exhausted and that the program distributed over $800,000 in rental aid.
"Our ERAP program did close officially last week, so all the funds have been exhausted," Gina said. She said the program supported between 170 and 180 households ("I'm still working out the final number there") and that the average payment per household was about $5,000. She added that callers who applied but did not receive funding because the funds ran out are being contacted by 211 for follow-up support.
