Lieutenant Rob Sullivan, Danvers Police Department, who led the committee’s event planning updates, said the committee and partners "have done a ton of work" preparing two Pride events: a kickoff at the police station at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, and the main Pride event at Town Hall the following Saturday beginning at noon.
The committee described the June 5 kickoff as a smaller gathering with a flag raising, pizza, music and community activities, and said the Town Hall event will include a Pride walk, a guest of honor and vendor/resource tables.
