PUC approves minutes, general counsel recommendations and routine staff items

The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada voted unanimously to approve routine procedural and staff items, including approval of meeting minutes from the April 29 agenda meeting and several items forwarded by counsel and regulatory operations staff.
Chair Haley Williamson asked whether any commissioner wished to pull the April 29 meeting minutes for further consideration; none did and Williamson moved to approve the minutes. Commissioner Cordova seconded; the commission voted aye and the motion carried.
The commission also accepted recommendations from the Office of General Counsel for agenda item 4A and approved three regulatory operations staff items (5A, 5B and 5C) on the consent calendar without further discussion. Commissioners Williamson, Brown and Cordova voted aye on each item. The meeting opened and closed with the standard public-comment periods; no members of the public provided comments at either the start or close of the meeting.
