Separately, the board discussed a proposed memorandum of understanding between Laredo ISD and Workforce Solutions for a summer teacher externship program. Trustees were reminded that at the CNI meeting staff estimated the externship would cost about $1,000 per participating teacher. Staff invited trustees to ask additional questions; none were raised at length during this meeting.
Staff said future board packets will include the full TIMA materials list and the final MOU language if trustees wish to review before any formal action.
