The resident said free fill material was available and urged the town to take advantage of it if the county could not deliver timely service.
Council members encouraged the resident to continue contacting the town and agreed to follow up: “If you don’t mind, I’ll call him and tell him of this discussion and tell him, you know, you’ve made promises to Donnie and to the town and you haven’t kept him,” one council member said in the meeting. The council did not set a firm timetable during the session.
