Office of Homeless Solutions outlines how Housing Forward and All Neighbors Coalition coordinate HUD funding

At a May meeting of the Citizen Homelessness Commission, Office of Homeless Solutions Director Christine Crosley and Commissioner Diana Einstein gave commissioners an overview of the local Continuum of Care and how federal homelessness funding is coordinated.

The presentation explained that the local Continuum of Care (CoC), called the All Neighbors Coalition, spans Dallas and Collin counties and uses Housing Forward as the collaborative applicant and lead agency to assemble and submit HUD funding applications. Crosley told commissioners: “Housing Ford is responsible for assembling the annual community wide application for funding, which we'll get to in a bit, coordinating our Continuum of Care and Board, data management, reporting, performance evaluation, and promoting system performance improvement under a unified strategy to end homelessness.”
