At the May 15 Planning Board meeting a staff member summarized two bills recently passed by the Baltimore County Council.
Staff reported Bill 18 25, described as a zoning regulation addressing solar facilities “for the purpose of limiting the proximity of solar facilities to other such facilities and generally relating to solar facilities.” Staff also reported Bill 2,525, described as restrictions on parking commercial vehicles in the Essex Commercial Revitalization District “for the purpose of prohibiting the parking of certain commercial vehicles in certain areas of the Essex Commercial Revitalization District and generally relating to parking.” The staff report did not include text of the bills or any board action; it was delivered as an informational update.
The Planning Board did not take action on the bills during the May 15 meeting. Board members discussed related statewide developments on solar policy later in the meeting (see separate item), but the Planning Board did not vote on these County Council measures at the May 15 session.
