A board member read the motion on the floor: “Be it moved that the Baltimore County Board recommends adoption of the 2024 annual growth report as prepared by the Department of Planning and dated 05/01/2025.” The motion was seconded and carried on a roll-call vote.
Board members recorded in the roll call who voted yes include Mr. Aray; Mr. Bridal; Ms. Brophy; Mr. Duval; Mr. Heckman; Mr. Heinell; Mr. Hinton; Mr. Johnson; Ms. Munozes; Ms. Pinero; Mr. Schulman; and Mr. Tennant. The transcript notes that one member, Mr. German, was not present for the vote. Planning staff had circulated responses to questions raised at the board’s May 1 meeting; Olupka said he had received those materials and no board member raised additional substantive questions before the vote.
The report was introduced to the board on May 1 with a presentation by Chris Weaver of the Department of Planning; staff remained available at the May 15 meeting to answer follow-up items. The board did not record further discussion or conditions tied to the recommendation.
The board adjourned after routine business; its next meeting was scheduled for June 5, 2025.
