The board approved the fiscal year 2025 asphalt roadway program contract to Schroeder Asphalt Services Inc. for $1,170,869.21 and awarded a Butterfield Road water main lining contract to Sheridan Plumbing and Sewer Inc. for an amount not to exceed $1,480,800. The board also approved a waiver of bids and contract for sewer root control to Dukes Root Control Inc. not to exceed $36,117.88 and authorized purchase of a Horton ALS ambulance from Foster Coach for $380,229 through a joint cooperative purchase.
The trustees approved two Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) federal funding closeouts: a supplemental resolution appropriating $121,217.05 tied to a federal funding IDOT project agreement, and a separate IDOT closeout appropriating $1,437,579.45.
