The Marion County Board of Commissioners on May 14 approved amendment No. 1 to the contract for services with Nathanael Kravitz, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, adding $275,000 and extending the contract through June 30, 2027. The motion passed by voice vote.
Carol Hurd, Addiction Treatment Services division director with Marion County Health and Human Services, said the amendment extends an existing contract for up to 21 hours per week to provide skilled medical assessments and supervision for adult behavioral health clients and to support medication management as part of individual service plans. Under the amended contract, the not-to-exceed amount will be $675,000.
Board members indicated they had previously discussed the contract in a management update and had no further questions at the meeting.
