The committee met to consider legislation on open-space grants, local housing requirements, property tax exemptions and procedural reforms. "We have nine bills for consideration on today's agenda," Senator Monica Martinez said at the start of the meeting. Many items drew only procedural motions; the chair repeatedly noted that bills had "enough votes to move."
