Committee members suggested phased approaches: begin with marketing and packaging for short‑term rental guests and local promotions while preparing for larger investments that would support tournaments, hotel partners or event business in the future. Members discussed potential hotel interest in town and the value of short‑term rentals as interim lodging for visiting golfers.
The EDAC and golf committee agreed to maintain regular communication, exchange ideas by email and meet at the golf course to identify immediate, implementable actions. No formal action or funding was approved at the meeting; both groups agreed to continue collaborative planning and to involve the chamber and other partners.
