Planner Miss Albers explained the amendment request concerns a sustainability condition attached to the project regarding how the parking lot is sealed; staff characterized the change as a narrow policy discussion about a condition, not a reconsideration of the entire project. Staff recommended a waiver of the public input meeting on that narrow ground and the council granted the waiver by motion; the action does not reopen or reconsider other project approvals.
Councilman Potts moved to approve the waiver and Councilman Johnson seconded. The motion passed 5 to 0 with Councilman Wolf absent. Staff will process the condition amendment under the applicable procedures and return to council if further public input is required.
