Nassau County approves $5.18 million pavement management work authorization with Hubbard Construction

Commissioner Farmer moved approval of the contract authorization; Commissioner Martin seconded. The board voted unanimously, 5-0, to approve the authorization.
County staff and several commissioners praised the program's proactive approach to maintenance and said the work is within the previously proposed pavement management budget. No public speakers addressed the item during new-business discussion.
The action authorizes county staff to sign the specified work authorization with Hubbard Construction and proceed under the terms of contract CM3359. The motion and vote completed the board's formal approval; staff will handle implementation and scheduling under the contract terms.
