Sellersburg approves $6,295 CCMG change order to add Walk Avenue to this year’s paving work

The Sellersburg Town Council voted Aug. 12 to approve a CCMG change order adding Walk Avenue (from All Hands Avenue to Buchette/Buchette Street) to the contractor’s scope for an additional $6,295.
Town staff said the change order is Job No. 250025, Change Order No. 1, and that the MAC representative had signed the documents. Staff told the council that remaining CCMG funds would cover the addition so the work would not require tapping other town funds.
Councilmember Randy moved for approval; Councilmember Terry seconded, and the motion passed by voice vote.
Staff noted the area behind nearby private properties (for example behind the O'Reilly property mentioned at the meeting) was private and not part of the public work; the change order covers the public alley segment specified in the contract documents.
The change order amount and project paperwork will be processed by staff and included in the project’s contract records.
