Staff said the expense was included in next year’s budget and the board authorized procurement now so the village can secure units and get updated support.
A trustee moved to approve the Juniper switches and access points at a cost of $36,928; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Officials said one existing switch from the court area will be re‑licensed and redeployed as part of the new configuration.
