Risk management updates at the Sullivan County Human Resources Committee on Wednesday covered the county’s property-casualty renewal and an anticipated memorandum of agreement (MOA) tied to an increase in the NYSNA agreement.
Julie reported the property-casualty renewal is scheduled to take effect Aug. 1 and that staff is finishing up apportionment work in advance of the renewal. She said risk staff are scheduled to attend the PERMA conference later in the month (the 14th–16th).
Julie also said the county needs a resolution to authorize Josh (last name not specified) to sign an MOA related to the NYSNA agreement increase. She stated the MOA was not on the committee’s agenda for a resolution today and that the draft would be placed on the executive docket; staff said they were informed of the need for the MOA the prior Monday and may be past the cutoff for the current agenda.
Committee members did not press for an immediate vote during the meeting. No formal resolution was passed in committee; staff indicated the matter would be routed through executive or full board processes to secure authorization for the MOA signature.
