Council waives full-reading requirement and sets July, August meeting dates

Under the provisions of section 4.05 of the charter of the city of Canfield, a council member moved that "council dispense with the requirement of full reading of the proposed motion and authorized reading by title only." The motion was seconded. During roll call on the motion, council members responded in the affirmative and the motion carried.
Later, pursuant to section 3.09 of the charter of the city of Canfield, a motion was made to change council meeting dates for July and August. The motion specified the new dates as July 16, 2025 and Aug. 13, 2025, to begin at 5:30 p.m.; the mover said, "I move for passage," and a second was recorded. No vote objections were recorded in the transcript and the council proceeded with the schedule.
The council did not provide additional conditions attached to the date changes; members discussed notifying the record for the chosen dates and confirmed times during the meeting.
