Taft council approves consent calendar, awards four Fourth of July fireworks stands

The council also authorized lease agreements for postal equipment, bank card services, and agreements with payment processors (Catalyst Payments, Tech Transaction Technologies and Worldpay LLC). The city approved expenditures of up to $23,230 for the state-required sewer system management plan update.
The council adopted a resolution approving the donation of two 2019 GEM electric vehicles to the West Kern Oil Museum, and approved an amendment to the franchise agreement with Westside Waste Management Company, Inc., concerning residential service compensation.
