Dana Point renews Tourism Business Improvement District, no written protests filed

The council opened and closed the public hearing with no public commentary, then adopted the staff recommendation by voice vote.
The renewal preserves the TBID’s existing structure for assessing lodging businesses to fund destination sales and marketing. The council did not identify changes to assessment rates or spending categories during the meeting.
