Committee members approved awards across multiple categories, the district’s food-service staff said, recommending William George for bread and bakery, Oak Farms for milk, William George and LAMM for refrigerated and frozen items, William George for produce, a mix of William George, Lamb and Thorcon for staples, and William George and Economical for paper goods.
“These bids were opened on April 29,” Food Service staff member Miss Terry told the committee. “In your packet, I’ve included the breakdown for each bid that shows the price per unit and what the winning vendor’s price was.”
