Committee adopts agenda and forwards Neola policy revisions to full board

The Policy & Curriculum Committee voted to adopt the May 5, 2025 agenda and later approved a motion to move a bundle of Neola policy revisions to the full Board of Education for consideration.

At the start of the meeting a motion to adopt the agenda was made and seconded; the chair called the vote and the motion passed unanimously, committee members said. No mover or seconder names were recorded in the transcript.

Near the end of the meeting staff reviewed a set of Neola model policies under consideration. A committee member moved and another seconded a motion to forward those policies to the full board for adoption. The chair called the vote and members voted in favor; the committee recorded no opposition and the motion passed and will go to the full board for final action.

Both items were procedural and moved by committee motion; the committee did not adopt the Neola policies as final at this meeting and the full board will consider adoption.
