The Macomb Township Board of Trustees voted unanimously Wednesday to award this year’s sidewalk maintenance work for the township’s southwest sections to Luigi Ferdandy and Son Cement Company for $853,427.93, approve the township’s sidewalk/pathway maintenance policies and procedures and authorize design and right-of-way work for the 2026 Pathway Gap Closure Program with a budgeted total of $1,080,000.
The vote followed a public hearing on the township’s sidewalk maintenance program that the board opened and closed after no members of the public came forward to speak.
