The Planning Commission unanimously forwarded a recommendation May 15 to City Council for the preliminary plat and site plan for Precision Medical, a commercial corner property on Redwood Road adjacent to the recently adopted Redwood Square development.
Staff presented the site plan, including access controls (right-turn in/right-turn out due to a median), required easements, and a condition to provide screening fencing where the commercial lot abuts residential zoning. Staff said the plan meets parking, landscape and lighting code requirements but asked the applicant to correct a minor plat error and finalize details before city-recorded platting.
Applicant John Galbraith of Element Designs Collective and project team were present; staff reported no public comments had been received as of the packet. After a short discussion, Commissioner Kern moved to forward a recommendation of approval with findings and conditions; Commissioner Hill seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
Staff will return a corrected plat and confirm screening and engineering conditions before final approval and recordation.
