Staff said additional scope resulted from unforeseen structural, plumbing and electrical conditions discovered when walls and ceilings were opened.
Work completed and accessibility: Staff said the project required structural reinforcement, plumbing and electrical adjustments and reconfiguration to meet ADA clearances. Work was described as substantially complete, restrooms open and stocked, with minor punch-list items remaining.
Council action: The council voted to accept work as complete and authorize filing a notice of completion. Roll-call on the motion recorded unanimous approval.
