Staff planner Jamie Henry reported the archaeological study located no significant cultural resources and recommended acceptance with the discovery clause. Several commissioners noted that five recorded sites exist within a half‑mile of the parcel but that the survey flagged low probability of buried resources. Chair Keith Granadaoik moved to accept the survey and add the discovery clause; the motion passed on roll call with staff and commissioners voting yes.
No additional survey or special mitigation was ordered. The commission discussed whether the discovery clause language could be strengthened, but no amendment to the county standard was adopted at the meeting.
