Lake County commissioners enter closed executive session on property negotiations and legal advice

At 3:06 p.m. the Lake County Board of County Commissioners convened a special meeting and voted to go into an executive session to consider purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer or sale of real property and to receive legal advice pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes 24-6-402(4)(a), (4)(b) and (4)(e).

The board said the session was closed to the public. Present for the executive session, as announced at the meeting, were Commissioner Matt Bullock; Commissioner Elsa Tharp; County Attorney Chris Floyd; County Manager Candace Bridal; Deputy County Manager Lawrence Snyder; Water Resource Manager Bryce Ehrlich; Community Planning Director Anne Schneider; and Duncan Chisholm of Parks and Recreation. A meeting staff member identified as Tracy assisted with logistics.

The motion to enter the executive session was made and seconded on the record and approved by voice vote. The transcript does not record which commissioner moved or seconded the motion, nor does it list individual roll-call votes; the clerk announced ayes. The board reconvened in public at 4:14 p.m. The meeting chair said, “no decisions were made. It was just discussion and information gathering.”
