The council voted to adopt Ordinance 803 amending the town business-license chapter after staff explained minor administrative changes suggested by the Washington State Department of Revenue and a substantive clarification limiting a $5,000 fee exemption to nonresident businesses and tying the exemption to the job performed in town rather than annual gross receipts.
