Parker council certifies election, swears in two new members and names Pilgrim mayor pro tem

Roxanne Bogdan took the oath, reciting, "I, Roxanne Bogdan, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the duties of the office of council member, City of Parker, Texas," and repeated the standard pledge to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution." Colleen Halbert took a similar oath before the council.
Council members voted to accept the canvass by voice; the motion to accept Resolution No. 2025-844 passed with the mayor calling the motion carried, "4-0."
