5) Lease agreement for Taft sheriff substation (agenda item 31): Pulled from consent and considered separately, the board approved a lease with purchase option for 601 Gardner Field Road with Milly Development Company LLC to serve as a community substation for the Kern County Sheriff's Office. Term: 10 years starting May 13, 2025. Vote recorded: approved; 3 ayes, 2 absent.
