Booster Club to install indoor 'Next Level' recognition sign at Dover Area SD with WellSpan funding

The initial production and the first 13 nameplates cost $3,747; WellSpan agreed to sponsor that first purchase and its logo will appear on the sign. Hassinger said the Booster Club will cover future annual nameplate additions; the minimum annual cost for additional plates is about $92.
Placement and maintenance The proposed location is the cafeteria wall above the ticket stand, visible to students entering the gym. Hassinger said the sign is designed for secure mounting (out of reach) and that the district CTE program could assist with safe, supervised installation.
Why it matters: the sign is intended as a low-cost, ongoing recognition effort for student-athletes who compete at the collegiate level; the project does not require district funds for initial installation.
Discussion and timing Board members asked about plate format (engraved plates that slide in) and whether the sign would cover all sports; Hassinger confirmed it would. He said production and mounting could take four to six weeks; depending on staff availability the sign might not be hung until next school year. The Booster Club plans to return at a later meeting with a year-in-review of Booster Club activities.
