The approved list included, among others, Backstreet Pub; Birdie Boys Indoor Golf; The Hilltop Pub; House of Guinness (extension of premise); Chef Jack’s #225; Historic Courthouse 1893; Plaza Garibaldi; Good Harvest Market; Meijer Store 276 and Meijer Gas Station 276; Rochester Deli; Sendix Food Market; Sunset Bowl; Valecha Ventures LLC; Wisconsin Indoor Golf Center; and others read aloud by staff during the motion.
Clerks and legal staff reported that background checks had been reimplemented and routed to the police department for sign‑off; the clerk confirmed the PD had signed off on the background checks for items without other issues. Committee members and staff identified a number of applications with clerical or documentation issues — examples included mismatched address numbers in item packet listings (an item described as “123 and 131” but the application listing showed 123 and 125), missing maps for sidewalk‑cafe/extension‑of‑premise requests (Spring City Wine House, 336 W. Main St.), and inconsistent or outdated extension dates on several applications. The committee agreed to pull any application with such questions and return them at a future meeting once clerks verify the details.
