Klamath County commissioners approve grants, contracts, appointment and licenses; authorize illegal marijuana enforcement grant application

The Klamath County Board of Commissioners on May 13 approved multiple grants, contracts, an appointment and a license, and authorized law-enforcement grant applications and software and service agreements.

Major actions included: acceptance of a $2,328,645 quote for emulsified asphalt and distributor services for the county’s chip-seal program; approval of a $7,007.27 domestic-well financial assistance payment to Richard Anderson; acceptance of a $58,013.52 Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department ATV grant (with a $14,503.38 in-kind match) for law-enforcement ATV patrols; authorization for the sheriff’s office and partner agencies to apply for Oregon Criminal Justice Commission funding to address unlawful marijuana cultivation; approval of an intergovernmental amendment for the Oregon Records Management Solution (ORMS) for Community Corrections (annual cost not to exceed $15,000); approval of Public Health agreements including agreement C04348 with Multnomah Education Service District for Medicaid…
