Andrea Littlefield of the Kootenai County Office of Emergency Management told commissioners that four sealed bids were opened at the May 6 meeting and Alpha Services submitted the lowest bid. The board moved to award bid number 2025-02 to Alpha Services LLC; the motion carried with recorded ayes from Commissioners Eberline, Duncan and Chair Metari.
Littlefield said the award covers 58.5 acres of hazardous fuel treatment under the Tubbs Hill FireSmart grant. No dollar amounts for the winning bid were stated on the record during the presentation.
