Kootenai County commissioners approve minutes, consent items and payables; multiple procurement and contract items advanced

Kootenai County commissioners unanimously approved meeting minutes and the consent calendar, and approved payables at their May 13, 2025 meeting.
The board voted to approve the minutes for items 1–3 and then approved the consent calendar for items 4 and 5. Commissioners Eberline, Duncan and Chair Metari each voted aye on those motions. The board then approved payables for May 9, 2025 in the amount of $2,315,264.81 and jury panel payments of $2,829.50; the vote carried with recorded ayes from Commissioners Eberline, Duncan and Chair Metari.
Several procurement items were acknowledged and sent for further review, including bid openings for HVAC work on the justice building and multiple RFQs for a construction manager/general contractor for the autopsy lab and coroner's office. In each case the board moved to acknowledge receipt and forward the submissions to legal and building & grounds for review; those motions carried with recorded ayes from the three commissioners.
The meeting then proceeded to several department presentations, contract awards and grant actions recorded elsewhere on the agenda.
