Lemont board approves multiple procurement resolutions, awards Derby Road bridge contract

Separately, Clerk Charlene Smolen introduced Resolution R-36-25 to award a contract for Derby Road bridge repairs. Trustee Stapleton moved the award, Trustee Kitridge seconded, and staff reported two bids were received; the low bid was from MYS in the amount of $301,553.66. Public Works Director Ralph Pacula (Ralph) said the village has worked with MYS previously and staff recommended approval. The board approved the contract by roll call.
