The council conducted a roll call vote and the motion passed with recorded "aye" votes from Councilmember Victor Sanchez, Mayor Pro Tem Santanaines, Councilmember Coops, Councilmember Wendy Morse and Mayor Dutton.
The council recessed to a closed session following the appointment and later reconvened with no reportable action from the closed session noted on the record.
