Dr. Fitch said the department offered 12 study‑hall sessions in April and that some ineligible students did attend study hall.
Cafeteria manager Dan Stevens reported food‑service activity for April. The department catered 10 events, supported mental‑health and professional‑development meetings, and supplied meals for field trips and field days. Commodity usage and deliveries and student‑meal support in April totaled $15,512; month‑end inventory was $25,229. Stevens said planning for the summer feeding program is underway, with an initial meeting scheduled at the high school and annual training planned for program staff in early June. He also reported five vacant food‑service positions to be filled over the summer.
Committee members thanked athletics and food‑service staff for their work. No formal actions were taken.
