At the May 12 meeting the finance committee and district architects described the project as a multi‑phase build that will add three classrooms in phase 1 — a new administrative suite and one classroom in the new addition and two renovated classrooms in the former office footprint — and later allow removal of two relocatable classrooms when phase 2 proceeds. The project’s total budget increased from earlier estimates because of additional allowances for FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment) and higher owner contingency amounts.
