At the start of the meeting’s public‑comment portion, resident Mike Landis of 4294 Clearview Court spoke in support of a draft change to the city’s zoning ordinance to allow chickens on single‑family lots.
“I live at 4294 Clearview Court. And, we're here today to voice our support for the proposed draft to the change in zoning ordinance to allow chickens for 1 single family residences,” Landis said. He asked council to move the draft forward.
Council did not take action on the item during the meeting; the comment was entered for the record and city staff noted no additional speakers came forward during the public comment period.
