The Taneytown Mayor and City Council adopted Resolution 2025-06, setting the town's water allocation for May, during their May 12, 2025 combined meeting.
President McCarron moved to approve the water allocation; Councilmember Foster seconded. The council approved the resolution by voice vote; no roll-call tally was recorded in the meeting minutes.
City Manager Jim briefed the council elsewhere in the meeting on related water-system matters, including ongoing construction on Westview Drive and testing at the wastewater treatment plant that produced a temporary phosphorus spike. The council did not take additional action on those operational items during the vote on Resolution 2025-06.
The resolution was entered into the record as Resolution 2025-06 and will appear in the official minutes and packet for May.
