Adams County lists neighborhood resources: tool shed, block party trailer, adopt-a-spot and cleanup events

Adams County staff used the town hall to highlight several neighborhood resources available to residents who want to organize cleanups or community events.
Matt Rivera and Byron (parks director) described the tool shed program that loans yard and garden tools for free, with delivery and maintenance provided by the county. Rivera said there are two tool sheds available and that groups can reserve them online. Officials also promoted a free block party trailer stocked with games and gear residents in unincorporated areas can reserve to host neighborhood gatherings.
Byron noted the adopt-a-spot program for parks and trails and said the county supplies materials for groups that register. The county also announced three free spring neighborhood cleanup events in Berkeley, Dahlia and Strasburg where residents can drop off yard waste and debris (electronics, paint and hazardous waste will not be accepted at those events).
Officials encouraged residents to use the SeeClickFix app to report local maintenance needs and to visit adcogov.org/townhall for reservation links and schedules for the tool shed, block party trailer, cleanup days and other resources.
