At its May 8 meeting the Glendale Elementary School District Governing Board recorded several formal actions: it tabled action item 6a (ASB political agenda priorities) until its May 22 meeting, adopted the consent agenda, approved the 2025 expenditure budget revision No. 3, and approved the employment of Tracy Reagan as coordinator for special services for the 2025–26 school year.
Agenda and consent votes Board members approved the agenda as amended to remove item 6a. The motion to approve the agenda minus item 6a passed with Board Member Wilson, Board Member Pimentel and the chair voting "aye." The governing board then adopted the consent agenda; the recorded votes were "aye" from Board Member Wilson, Board Member Pimentel, Board Member Jaramillo and the chair.
Tabling of ASB political agenda priorities Superintendent Sienna Jones told the board at the start of the meeting that she would like to table action item 6a (ASB political agenda priorities). The board formally moved and recorded the item as tabled until the May 22 meeting, which staff said will meet at 4 p.m. and will bring item 6a back for consideration.
Employment of coordinator for special services The board approved the employment of Tracy Reagan as coordinator for special services for the 2025–26 school year, with salary and benefits set on the coordinator schedule as presented. Superintendent Sienna Jones made the recommendation on the record; Reagan was present and rose at the request of the board. The recorded votes were "aye" from Board Member Wilson, Board Member Pimentel, Board Member Jaramillo and the chair. The board congratulated Reagan on the appointment.
Budget vote The board also voted to approve the 2025 expenditure budget revision No. 3 (see separate coverage for details). The vote on that motion was recorded as unanimous among those present.
Future meeting note Board staff said item 6a will return at the May 22 meeting, which will begin at 4 p.m. and operate under the district's summer meeting schedule.
