Washoe County parcel map review committee approves three parcel maps

At a virtual meeting, the Washoe County Parcel Map Review Committee approved three tentative parcel maps, each subject to the conditions of approval included in the staff reports.

Staff planner Tim Evans summarized each application before the committee and recommended approval in every case. Committee members raised questions about septic and sewer requirements for two of the parcels before moving to vote. No members of the public spoke on the items during the meeting.

The most detailed discussion concerned tentative parcel map case WTPM25-0001 for Leslie Land Company, LLC, a 77.3-acre property on Rhodes Road in the South Valley planning area. Tim Evans, planner, told the committee the applicant proposes to divide the parcel into four lots of 5.8 acres, 7.44 acres, 8.13 acres and 55.93 acres.
