The Foster Town Council on May 8 approved a business license for TriStar DOT, an occupational medical services practice that will operate at 146 Danielson Pike.
Applicant Jamie Lindy identified herself as a nurse practitioner with about 25 years’ experience and said her business — TriStar DOT — will operate roughly 10 hours per week from Dr. Megan Giovanni’s chiropractic office. "My business is Tri State DOT," Lindy said. She said services will include "DOT physicals, respirator medical clearance, and fit for duty evaluations." Lindy told the council the hours are scheduled when the chiropractic office is otherwise not in use and that the operation would not increase traffic or demand additional town resources.
Councilmembers voiced support for adding the service to the town. A motion to approve Lindy’s application was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote; the council welcomed TriStar DOT to Foster.
The licensing notice on file shows the license was requested for the year ending Dec. 31, 2025, with the business address listed as 146 Danielson Pike, Foster, Rhode Island. The council record does not show a roll-call vote; approval was recorded by voice as "Aye."
