Bangor City committee reviews updated feasibility plan, asks for cost estimates and pro formas for consolidated parks and recreation center

A Bangor City special committee on the proposed consolidated parks and recreation facility reviewed updated design “building program” blocks that add a dedicated fitness area and rearrange other program spaces, and asked project consultants for updated cost estimates, operational pro formas and a phased implementation plan ahead of a July 10 target for a draft recommendation to city council.

The committee met with Barry Dunn, the project consultant, who presented the updated drawings and the list of program areas. "The areas in yellow, they incorporated, the update from the original feasibility study plan," Dunn said, calling attention to a newly added fitness component and reallocation of adjacent spaces.
