The ANNANDALE PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT board’s finance committee said it has begun preliminary work on potential operating and capital-project levies and will gather community input before any formal decision.
Board member (presiding) said the committee met twice recently and is “looking at our budget, kind of looking at discussing an operating levy” and is also considering a capital project levy that could pay for some technology staffing and equipment, freeing general-fund dollars, if voters approve it. The committee has not proposed dollar amounts and described the work as early-stage due diligence.
