Utah County Commission reschedules public hearing, tables then approves item 11 after closed session

Commissioners agreed to change the public hearing for agenda item 4 to June 11 at 2 p.m.; staff indicated the change was needed because the acreage involved exceeded 10 acres and thus required the formal public hearing process. Commissioners also confirmed a public hearing for the Holiday Hills item will be held May 28, 2025, at 6 p.m. at 2054 South Grouse Circle in Springville (the address was read and clarified during the meeting).
The commission built its consent agenda, initially tabling item 11 until after a closed session. Commissioners then went into closed session (item 7 was held for closed session; items 8 and 9 were struck; item 10 was held). After returning to regular session, a commissioner made a motion to approve item 11; another commissioner seconded. The commission approved the motion by voice vote.
